Its raining reality shows on Sony Entertainment Television
‘K for Kishore’ is not from the Balaji stable but from Meditech. Scheduled for the same time slot as that of ‘Jhalak..’, the show is yet another talent show for singers. “‘K for Kishore’ is another singing reality show. There are going to be auditions in cities and a few will be short-listed. All the contenders in the show will be singing Kishoreda songs,” . Playback singer and a big Kishore Kumar fan, Babul Supriyo is the host where as Bappi Lahiri and Sudesh Bhosle have been roped in as judges. The show will go on air from 21 December.
Besides this, ‘Chaal Baaz No.1′ from Endemol is also rolling out during the same time. “All 33 contestants in the show have to play pranks and the best prankster will be chosen as the winner. Sajid Khan and Cyrus will be judging the show where as Punjabi kudi Mona Singh will be the host,”.
It now appears that Sony may also soon be renamed ‘Reality Entertainment Television’!

I know my self as a single and a big fan of Kishore Daa as he comes in my dream and teaches me the alfabets of music.I can miss my breath but not the apertuniy to practice, listen the legend collection of Kishore Daa. Kishore Daa is my breath, soul and in the core of my heart.I really inspired with him and really deeply enjoy the lirics,mood,style and the lovely unforgetable voice which was the gift of goddess saraswati.As a good followr of Kishore Daa. It is not worth to compare myself with Kishore Daa but I feel pleasure to sing his legends “ALL THOUGH HE IS NO MORE BUT NEVER DIED”I salute him.

K FOR KISHORE is by far, the STUPIDEST SHOW on the whole wide world…..by Sony (Who else, Sony is one TV channel who gives us 3rd rate programming)……
ALL the singers in this show are WORSE than bathroom singers…..NONE of them have knowledge of SUUR / TAAL….HOW could SONY choose these singers beats me….not difficult I guess…if you ask some stupid manager with clerical metality…..that he is “given importance” of choosing singers….without knowing M of Music…..such 3rd Rate singing!!! Even Fame Gurukul (ALSO by Sony) had better singers…..
And, the judges!!!
- I thouhgt Bappi Lahiri KNEW music….this guy says “Bahut Achcha”
to even the WORST of the worst singers.
- Amit Kumar….altough a CLASS singer…. he cannot understand SUR.
- Sudesh Bhosale….should stick to mimicry…he DOES NOT know singing.
I feel sad that a legend like Kishoreda’s name is being exploited by these idiots by allowing NON-SINGERS to sing in this show….and the JUDGES PRAISING these stupid singers.
